A pallet manifest is a description of the inventory listed in a particular wholesale lot. It helps you understand what you are buying, compare that lot with another and plan the work after delivery. Its most useful details are the ones you can connect to a real decision: whether you can handle the category, understand the condition labels and receive the full quantity.
Secondipity’s featured Target pallets include manifest information in their product images. Open the product page and review all available images at full size. Keep the lot ID visible while you move between the listing and document pages.
Start with the lot ID
The lot ID connects the product page, manifest and pickup or delivery conversation. A similar category name is not enough. For example, women’s apparel lot PTBI12073 lists 675 units, while women’s apparel lot PTBI12168 lists 708. Both are apparel pallets, but they contain different inventory and have different condition mixes.
Write down the exact ID of the lot you are reviewing. If you contact us about an unclear image, include that ID and the image or page number so we can focus on the correct record.
Check quantities at two levels
Review the total number of units in the lot, then examine the quantities of individual lines wherever the manifest provides them. Repeated descriptions or large quantities of one item may affect storage and how quickly you can work through the pallet. For clothing and shoes, read any available size and style information; for furniture or electronics, read model and component details where shown.
The listed units are sold together as a complete pallet. The displayed average price per unit is a calculation for comparing the lot, not a price at which you can order individual pieces.
Separate reference retail value from your actual cost
A manifest may show unit MSRP and extended MSRP. Extended MSRP is the reference retail value for the quantity on that line; total MSRP adds the listed reference values across the lot. MSRP is useful for understanding the mix, but it is not evidence of current resale demand, realized selling prices or the amount of usable inventory you will receive.
Compare that reference value with the current pallet price and your freight or collection cost. Divide your full estimated cost by the listed unit count to see a planning average. For a more conservative scenario, use the number of units you think you can realistically prepare for sale. Keep that assumption separate from the manifest’s unit count.
Read condition labels line by line
A mixed pallet can contain several labels rather than one uniform condition. The listed condition mix for lot PTBH11973 lists 25 Needs Testing, 16 Used-Good and 1 Scratch & Dent units. That mix is materially different from a lot whose listed contents are all marked New.
Do not infer testing results, completeness or specific cosmetic details from a category name or representative photo. Ask about a label or item if its meaning affects your ability to handle it. The condition guide explains how to turn those questions into a review checklist without assuming every item has the same status.
Use the images as evidence, not a shortcut
Open the first page, move through every subsequent page, and enlarge any small text. Check whether an image is a manifest page, an actual lot photo or a representative product image. Note any unreadable text, missing page sequence or detail you cannot match confidently to the lot.
If a product page has many images, take notes as you go: lot ID, category, units, condition mix, pallet price and open questions. Do not proceed on the assumption that an unclear photo confirms something it does not show.
Finish with a five-question review
- Does every document belong to the same lot ID?
- Do I understand the unit count and the full-pallet purchase?
- Have I reviewed the listed condition mix?
- Have I included freight or pickup costs in my comparison?
- Have I resolved the details that affect my receiving or preparation plan?
When those questions are answered, return to the current product page to check availability and price. Browse Target pallets and wholesale lots. If anything remains unclear, ask about a pallet, delivery or pickup before ordering.
