Refurbished Sony WH1000XM6: Comfortable Daily Drivers with Killer ANC

I grabbed the certified refurbished Sony WH1000XM6 headphones in Midnight Blue not long ago, and they are now my daily drivers. I love good noise canceling and comfort, and these nailed it. Sonys refurb process is solid, giving me something that looks and works like new. I snagged them for around $375, a nice saving over the current MSRP of about $450.

They showed up in perfect condition, no signs of wear. The Midnight Blue looks sharp and subtle. They are sturdy but light, great for long sessions. Comfort stands out the ear cups are soft and fit just right, no fatigue even after hours. Perfect for commutes, noisy spots, or chilling at home.

Noise canceling is killer, wiping out traffic, chatter, or plane noise like magic for total focus. It pairs with adaptive sound tweaks in the app for smooth switches between places. Sound is solid bass thumps, mids are clear, but tweak the EQ if you are picky.

Battery lasts over 30 hours with noise canceling on, so I charge less and move more. Quick charge juices it up fast, handy for me since I forget sometimes.

The case is a nice surprise. It folds flat and guards the headphones well without bulking up my bag, way better than old zipper ones for easy travel.

For that price, these WH1000XM6 deliver huge value. They match new high end models in performance, a total win for anyone wanting top noise canceling. If you need dependable, comfy over ear headphones, try this refurbished version.

I was excited to get these and I really

I was excited to get these and I really, really wanted to love them, but I didn't it. The headband felt hard against the top of my head. Not much cushion. My head was sore when I wore them for more than an hour. The cups also didn't fit well on the sides of my head. The bottom of the cups felt like they were digging into my jaw. That said, the sound was good, but not great. I wanted some wireless ANCs for flights and such, but I still lean to straight wired headphones for sound quality. I returned them.

Nothing really special about this headphone. It's all about the hype, and I clearly invited myself to it. The sound is the same as my XM4, XM5, Bose, and Apple headphones. I don't recommend it.

Great headphones for a great value!

Great headphones for a great value! Got these on the Prime sale day for $304 dollars which came to about $322 including shipping. These surpass my AirPods Max as well as my old Bose QC45s. Although there is no original packaging, the headphones came in a plastic bag wrapped nicely by bubble wrap. The USB-C cable was used, but the headphone cables still had the seal on them. The headphones themselves look pretty much new, but there were some speks of dust that were no big deal. Overall very happy with my purchase.
