As soon as I opened the box, it became obvious that the nailer had been used. It was sold as a "new", "open box" item, but the slides were worn and had built up dirt on them too. When I pulled it out of the tattered box, an old wood screw with putty on it came out with it. Then I noticed the same dried putty on the handle and trigger with some deep in the grooves. Also, it had signs of wear and stains all over the tool. I knew it had been used but assumed someone used it for a job then returned it as new and it slipped through the cracks. I decided to keep it anyway since I had planned on using it for a job the day after I got it and assumed it would function like a new item. Unfortunately, those assumptions were smashed when, after making a slight sound the first time I plugged a fully charged battery to it, the tool was broken and would not drive a nail. This tool was being sold with a 500-sample pack of nails but those were missing too. So, after buying nails for this gun, I was disappointed in the fact that it couldn’t drive them and the only thing that worked was the light. First purchase from this site and it didn't go well.
